Introduction to Sarli Jayakody
Most people who come across the name Sarli Jayakody would assume it came from Batman: Arkham City 2011 an action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman. Some of you who may own the game may have come across the name Sarli Jayakody within the game. It’s on a side mission and discreetly written on a PDA which Batman views in the game, a small detail in a bigger picture, so easy to miss but as you will see below it exists within the game
Who is Sarli Jayakody in Batman Arkham City?
The name ‘Sarli Jayakody ‘ is found on a PDA. According to the ‘unofficial’ Fandom’s and Wiki’s about Batman: Arkham City, Sarli Jayakody was a political prisoner who became entangled in the machinations of the mega-prison.
During the setup of Arkham City, Hugo Strange, the mastermind behind the prison, ordered Sarli Jayakody to participate in a classified project related to TYGER Security’s weapon delivery systems. However, instead of gratitude, Strange repaid Sarli Jayakody’s efforts by throwing him into Arkham City as a political prisoner.

Unfortunately, Sarli Jayakody’s time in Arkham City was short-lived as he was assassinated by the lethal marksman known as Deadshot. Batman, who had already witnessed Deadshot’s previous killings, investigated Sarli’s death and the sniper’s location. When Batman discovered Sarli’s lifeless body, it had already attracted the attention of scavenging crows.
Sarli Jayakody’s story serves as a tragic reminder of the dangers and political intrigue present within the confines of Arkham City, leaving Batman with clues to uncover Deadshot’s hideout and bring justice to those involved.

But actually who really is Sarli Jayakody?
It is not unusual for Batman fans to name themselves after a character from the DC comic series. Harley Quinn is probably one of the best examples which pops to mind. It’s understandable that maybe in this world of cosplay someone would want to name themselves Sarli Jayakody. It is indeed a cool name, it’s my name.
Unlike a Batman fan who have decided to name themselves after a character in a comic book series. The actual name Sarli Jayakody was put into the game because of me. Pretty cool right, being the inspiration to have your name immortalized alongside a comic legend. For some comic book fans, gamers and artists this would be a dream come true. But as they say, not all which glitters is gold

These days people compete to make their names well known through social media forums like Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and many other forums. In this quest to gain fame many of those individuals sacrifice their own digital privacy, either out of ignorance or getting caught up in the fame.
The blogs I write on arkham-city-stalker.com is about a situation I have had to face due to the name ‘Sarli Jayakody’ appearing in this Batman: Arkham City 2011. I myself never sought after any kind of social media fame personally, however through an oversight. I have faced a disturbing experience of having my digital privacy intruded on by a citizen of Finland. Who not only seems to have a right wing mentality, as well as being an alcoholic, sponsored by the Finnish government. And has a rather fixated and obsessive behaviour to replicate events, actions and aspects of Sarli Jayakody. Don’t believe me? Find out for yourself.
